Option A - you're claiming from your policy. Your policy pays out to repair your car quickly and easily.

Option B - an accident management/credit hire firm are involved. Your insurer don't get any more involved than that. This third party make their money from high-cost car hire.

Option C - the other driver's admitted to his insurance that he's to blame, and they're offering to do everything direct.

    Take C.
  • I'm in the same situation and I've gone with Auxillis - so far, so good.

My vehicle was collected the following day and taken to my dealership repair centre (as requested) and I was given a like-for-like vehicle.

Auzillis, surely a helpful post should give some customer service and explain the process of cancelling with yourselves and taking the 3rd party insurer option.

What is the process and charges for this? You dont need to be case specific just some ballpark data.
