What would the point be in an election. The same parties will be returned in the same numbers. Tribal idiocy means corruption is acceptable to people.

Possibly not. Arlene hasn't got the paisley charisma (if such it was - it was always lost on me) and probably doesn't inspire the same blind loyalty as the oul fella did. We heard our whistleblower quoting him as if he was Moses. Pitiful. A scandal like this is likely to mean a boost for the uup.
Admittedly, endless scandal with Sinn Fein doesn't seem to cause them any more than superficial damage.
