£18 a month is £216 a year ... you could (probably) have gotten a much better deal on that too.
  • Are there really people who don't know that new cars come with (at least) three years manufacturer's warranty?

Your point of complaint should be it already had a warranty on it. The 0% loan issue is dead in the water unless you can demonstrate their terms of that deal at the time stated otherwise. As a business they are perfectly entitled to create promotions as they wish and impose conditions that suit their own interests.

I think you mis-bought the warranty, as you would of known that the car had some manufactures warranty anyway...but try and complain and see where you get.

    Good lucks

To take advantage of a customer's ignorance when misselling a product doesn't change the fact that the product was missold.
  • the guy told me that i needed warranty on the car and said i needed to buy the warranty that he offered, first time ive ever bought a nearly new car... how am i supposed to know it has a 3 year manufactures warranty?? i dont think i miss bought the warranty, just because i didnt know it already had warranty on the car, the sales man knew and never told me.

I still think it beggars belief that anyone doesn't know new cars come with three years warranty as a minimum.

Nevertheless, if the salesman actively sold you a warranty you didn't need then that is mis-selling. Even if you asked for a warranty he should have pointed out that the car had one until such and such a date and asked if you would like to extend it from then.
