I've been with virgin media for 18 years and wanting to shop around for a better deal...but My income is carer's allowance and income support. No problems ever paying my bills but wanted to know does that limit my options? Other providers may not want to touch me with a barge pole!
Plan on trying to haggle with VM but don't want to use the "I'm leaving!" threat if in fact I'm stuck...

As long as you don't have poor credit history it won't be an issue.
You're not asked your income or source of it when applying to a provider for telephone or broadband.0 -

Gave me the confidence to haggle...I had £35 knocked off my monthly bill with VM and two new TiVo boxes thrown in!0
