My local Halifax is only a small branch, if you want more than £500 you need to ask first, if you want a couple of thousand you need to arrange at least 24h before.
I was in Santander Stafford one day and im sure their limit is fairly low also. A customer was moaning because she didnt contact them. £400 or £500 limit?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I believe it depends entirely on how much notice you give them. Whilst there are limits as to how much you can withdraw without notice on any one day, give them a couple of days notice and they will let you withdraw the entire £420,000 in your current account.
And even without arrangement, if you go in fairly late on in the day, they may well be willing to let you withdraw a larger amount than their daily limit.Optimists see a glass half full

I know Nationwide give withdrawal limits on their website, and I would suspect that most, if not all, FIs will do the same. So rather than expecting us to do your work for you, spend an hour browsing and you'll know the answers yourself. If there are any that don't provide the information online then ring them up and ask them.0
