Yes it will work but if there is a compulsory top up with the phone he will not be able to put that onto the Orange account as it is linked to the SIM that comes with the phone, he will of course be able to transfer his number to an EE account but losing magic numbers and pay by the mb data use etc.

or loose the top up and stick with orange?
  • Thanks for the reply`s. I kinda guessed the top up wouldn`t be able to be used. He wants to keep his dolphin plan, so I guess he will have to decide which way he wants to go with it. Thanks again.

Just ask for a new Orange Micro/Nano SIM. They'll try to tempt you to move over to EE, but you can just say no.

This is a third party connection service

Calls are charged at 7p per minutes. Contact Phone Number is UK’s Call Connection Services which connects you to EE Customer Support department. This site is not affiliated with EE.

Suggest you use the direct EE number of 0800 956 6000 which is free.

This post not relevant anymore as Mods have removed post referring to 'Call Connection Services'.

Only call 0800 numbers from mobiles!

084/087 numbers are expensive and you'll run out of credit very quickly.
