Booking Flights on Christmas Day

As in making the booking on Christmas day not flying on Christmas Day. I am looking to book a flight to USA next spring, and working on the suggested ideal time to book for low prices I would need to book on either Christmas or boxing day. Is this a good idea or will the fact its a holiday mean prices will be higher ? Any thoughts would be welcome Thanks

some airlines have a boxing day sale. I would not expect prices to drop apart from if there is a sale0

The sale fares are often loaded onto booking systems before Christmas, I'm guessing that we'll see some on Thursday 22nd Dec. This can happen before 'sale' is advertised on their website.
For 'Spring' don't be surprised if peak Easter holiday dates don't have sale fare availability.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
