I will spend the rest of the year adding to my savings so I can make a 10% OP in January which I calculate will be £3500
Thanks Hidden xx
Congrats on reaching your target. You're welcome to increase it and count your savings if you like...they'll end up in the mortgage eventually when the bank allows.

Number 15 Checking in albeit late!!!
Payments so far this year are:
Jan- £500
Feb- £500
March- £200
June £2000
July £150 (so far)
Not sure what my overall aim is this year, I'll chip away as much as possible. I am getting married in January (we are eloping) so it's all a big secret and I have managed to keep the costs low (in comparison to some) and will continue to do so to free up cash for the mortgage but I want to look back and remember the good times and not the cheapness or extravagance!.
