Evening all, and a big THANK YOU to HiddenShadow for taking this on.

Former 2016 player, would like to re-enter again as #127, with a target of £3k.

Very unhappy that I had to reduce our target to £2k in 2016, so am planning for the original amount again.

when we 1st started the mortgage 4 1/2 years ago, we were paying £12.37/per day in INTEREST!!!!!! And now we are £8.91/day, WOW. However if I had kept up with the £3k OP it would have been nearer a bit lower, and as we say on MSE:
    :j"every penny counts":j

Now what are our Plans for 2017:
2-3 week holiday over the summer - Family / Friends, 4 nights at DLP in France, plus lots of camping :)
    • Finally finish off the garden - get the paving down, arrange for the archway which will be strong enough for a swing and a punch bag
    • Make better use of our allotment, and the sales of our cash crops to friends and family. 2016 - only made £25, which didnt even cover the cost of the rent of it! Let alone the seeds and equipment. We also plan to build a fruit cage, so the birds dont eat all the fruit before the kids get to them first!
    • And of course, to meet my MFW yearly target :money:

Think that is enough for now... EXCEPT

    Jan - £100
    Feb - £349.95

    M

PS If anyone has any experience of travelling / camping in France / where to recommend in Normandy??? Do get in touch.
