Welcome to all new/returning folks. :)

Just broke £750,000 target-wise... :D

Hi Hiddenshadow,

How do I find my number?
• #48 It looks like i won't be making an OP this month. My downsizing house move is frustratingly taking longer than planned. The move probably won't happen till February now.

However, as I'll have paid a couple of extra monthe on my current mortgage I'm looking to reduce it by almost £45,000 when the sale does finally complete.

I'm also budgeting for £100pcm OP after that, so I'll be paying almost what i do now and hopefully won't notice it. My aim is to be mortgage free in 10 years, when my eldest is (maybe) off to uni. I'll lose my CHB, Tax Credits and maintenance for him and don't want to notice this drop in income. I do plan to be working full time well before then anyway. But i like to plan. It makes me feel safe
