the 0161 number is no good :(
    google: Call discount
and use the 0843 number.... local rate, but better than dialing the US direct.

    Ahh, thanks Stuie...

I tried the 0843 but it asked me for a 6 digit access code....no idea what that means....this was from a mobile.

Does it make a difference if I call from a mobile or land line?

I couldn't figure out how to get Lyft to work as it wouldn't let me put in a UK phone number to set up the account?

hmm, I downloaded the app and registered fine while in the UK with a UK number.

did you try to put in a UK number while in the US? maybe that's an issue?

my number shows in the format +44 7123 456789

That happened to me too last week, I hung up and called back and the second call went through normally. This was from a mobile

Mine works with my UK number. I set it up on the laptop before I downloaded the app. I wonder if that's why it worked for me.

A lot of wind damage here yesterday when we arrived. The landing was a bit bumpy. Driving up Koval from the airport, there were several power lines down because the poles had snapped. Between Harmon and Flamingo the southbound road was closed. A bus and several cars were tangled in cables.

Anyone know of any current uber/lyft codes for first time users, which give a free first ride / $20 off, etc. Rather than 10 x $5 discounts?

I'm not sure which are valid ones from searching online!

I fly out tomorrow (woohoo!) from Southampton. I've been installing Uber and Lyft apps this morning. I used FEELING22 for $22 first ride free with Uber, which is great, but I used RIDESHAREAPPS with the promise of a $50 credit, but I was disappointed to see only $5 appear on my account. Does anyone know if I'm able to delete this code and use an alternative please? I've now seen this list (but I do notice that they say "up to $50"). I'd try one with 50 in the code:

    Lyft Promo Code
    Credit Amount
    Expiration Date
    CORE
    Up to $50
    5/15/2018
    HYPE
    Up to $50
    5/26/2018
    ARK
    Up to $50
    9/22/2018
    BLYSS
    Up to $50
    9/2/2018
    SLYCK
    Up to $50
    9/22/2018
    KYCK
    Up to $50
    9/22/2018
    GLOW50
    Up to $50
    7/5/2018
    HYPE50
    Up to $50
    12/6/2018
    HYPED
    Up to $50
    1/30/2018

That's strange, my lyft account has my U.K. Number, and I just set one up for OH so she could get free rides and no trouble setting up hers either
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Snap, I had exactly the same thing happen. Expected $50 and only got $5.
No you can't delete it I'm afraid
