    Ah, you're right. My bad.

Not like you to admit when you're in the wrong.

    Oh, it is.

I'm just not wrong half as often as I'm accused of being.

    Yeah yeah yeah.

Thats why you walked away from the petrol thread (still an open question there which you declined to answer)....

    ...And the tuning box thread

    ...And the washer fluid thread

    to name but a few.

No, I simply get bored with the intransigence and refusal to accept reality.

I don't even remember what you're on about there, tbh, It's as if you're keeping track... I've never had a stalker before. I feel almost honoured.

Well if you're even boring yourself with your intransigence and refusal to accept reality imagine how we feel.

No, not keeping track - your pigeon on a chessboard approach to debating stands out, for all the wrong reasons, thats all.

Again? You two should get a room to work off the obvious pent up passion. ;):D

I bought a car some years ago. In the service handbook it had lots of regular service stamps from Evans Halshaw. So I assumed the car had been looked after well.
However, when I came to get the car serviced, the mechanic looked at the plugs and oil that came out - he told me that the car had not been serviced for years judging from the state of plugs and oil. So either the service book was just stamped to complete the formality or the previous owner was taken for a ride (charged for the service but no work done).

    Hi people.
Right so I've just got my car in for its first service since I've had the vehicle (just less than a year) and there's quite a lot of things that need doing other than the service. Just a day before its service I had smoke coming from the injectors and was told it's the receivers or maybe the housing. Basically it's !!!!ing out diesel onto the block of the engine. (Causing smoke to bellow out from the bonnet). I had it recovered for free to my main dealer Evans halshaw as breakdown was in the warranty. But my concern is what will the warranty cover? I've been told exhaust brackets are corroded and exhaust is falling off, rear number plate light doesn't work, all 4 tyres need replacing, abs sensor is on, all brake pads need replacing, passenger headlight is misting up, and that's not before we get to the engine.. 2 injectors are needing replacing cam belt and aux belt are due to be changed. Literally !!!! my life there's a couple more things but can't think.. is it worth just shooting myself now? Or is there a way it's not going to brake my bank and life

Is the cambelt damaged/broken or does it just need replacing due to age/mileage?
Brake pads, cam belt change, tyres will not be covered under warranty as they're normal wear and tear and mandatory maintenance on all cars.

If the exhaust or other parts have rusted that certainly shouldn't happen in 3-4 years of the car's life so would have thought that would be covered under warranty.
