Cost of flight cancellation

Last weekend I booked flights for our October 2017 holidays in Florida. Fly out with American Airlines (BA Codeshare), and fly back with BA. The flights were booked direct with the BA website. I redeemed my Avios points to get the cost down some more.
Couple of days later, I find virtually the same flights through Skyscanner, for some £140 each cheaper. How much is it likely to cost if I cancel the flights with BA? The ticket is a standard economy. Also, if I cancel, will my Avios points be returned to my account?

Which agent is that with through skyscanner?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Your confirmation will detail cancellation charges. If it is a non flexible ticket then that may be 100%.0

Unless a very expensive ticket, I would expect cancelling would result in a refund of £73 APD. If you are seeing flights from edreams, opodo, bravofly or any of the other 3rd parties that do not have live pricing you may want to read reviews, these prices regularly do not exist and you either need to pay more or wait weeks for your money back0

Flights were booked with BA0

It is quite possible that the Skyscanner price does not exist.
Some rather dubious online travel agencies advertise on Skyscanner with fares that are not necessarily available. Catches often include prices which are not 'live' and you get a call a few days later to say the price has gone up. Another is that the fare is only available if you pay via an obscure prepayment card. Pay by any other method and the fare jumps up dramatically.
Richardw asks above which click thru link on Skyscanner was given. Please let us know. If it was Bravofly, e-Dreams, Opodo, GotoGate...run for the hills.0 -

Stick with what you have and don't look after you have booked. I expect the SS ones have added stuff somewhere........0
