redx , there cannot be a popla appeal , nighthawk are a different company , with a different company number , if it was a "T/A" then nighthawk security reg number 08181783 would not existSave a Rachael

Ok thanks Pappa! So to clarify, the ticket is from Nighthawk, I pay through a website https://www.nighthawk.... etc, appeals form is https://www.nighthawk...etc. To complain you go through p4parking, and the company number is 06751164 is p4parking.then at the bottom it says that Nighthawk is a trading name of P4Parking, and has some BPA accreditation info at the bottom.
Very confusing...who am I actually dealing with?!?0 -
the ticket is from nighthawk company number 08181783 , you have no dealings with a seperate company called p4 , may I advise that you back off on this one and await junk mail , then ask the DVLA who asked for it , remember your contract is with nighthawk (08181783 ) not another company
I cannot get beyond the payments page https://nighthawk.ec6pay.com/ , if I send you an invoice will you pay me (ps: I,m not registered with the dvla)Save a Rachael

Thanks Pappa. I'm still nervous that the company number at the bottom is P4parking, although the signage and ticket are branded Nighthawk.
All the advise says not to ignore it, so a little nervous of doing that too!
Is your last question rhetorical? If so, I see your point, but is this the best way? Thanks for your thoughts and advice so far.0 -
dunno await further advice , but the signage says nighthawk , the ticket says nighthawk , but nighthawk security are telling lies by using a false company number , they are seperate companies , with seperate company numbers , and as such the company that issued the ticket cannot (legally) get your info from the DVLA
T/A is a red hearing , they are 2 seperate companiesSave a Rachael

It's sound advice. I want to battle this one, as I'm not trying to get off on a dodgy technicality, I'm genuinely in the right! What do you mean by "T/A" though?0

in which case maybe wait for the NTK between day 29 and day 56 if they stick to POFA2012
keep the windscreen ticket safe as well, plus any other paperwork, take pictures of signs too, plus dont park there again
T/A is Trading As which it states on the BPA website0 -

when a company says "trading as" , the trading as name is not registered with companies house , in this case it is , secondly it is the founding company , not the trading as that has to be registered with the ATA etc.
lets see who ask for your infoSave a Rachael

You *could* wait for the NTK in this case, which will be in non-POFA wording and might well arrive well after day 56.
You can then appeal as keeper and win at POPLA in the end.
Looks like a PCN from P4Parking T/A Nighthawk, to me. A BPA AOS member. The company number is the right one."Nighthawk parking", trading name of P4Parking. Member of BPA. Company number 06751164,
Either wait for the NTK or follow the usual advice and appeal on day 26. either way the template is the blue writing one in the NEWBIES thread.
Gets you to the same point - POPLA - so makes no odds whether you appeal on day 26 or wait for the NTK, not with this bunch.
Ask a neighbour if they saw the signs being put up, or find out who owns that land/manages the flats and ask them to explain this outrage! Email the BPA to complain about this sharp practice - you could do that at the same time as you choose to appeal. Just do NOT imply who parked!someone this morning has put a sign up against the fence from Nighthawk, and then given us a penalty notice of £100.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
