Caught the 'dead cat bounce'. Traders covering short positions to take profits.

If you look up companies that are really in the brown stuff they'll drop so far and then the share price will rally. That's people that have sold shares they don't own buying them back so they end up flat, hopefully with a profit.

Deutsche timed it all wrong apparently.

Big Bank didn't when I checked earlier. They've done pretty well.

PS Not forgotten I owe you a drink Mel. Just trying to negotiate a good day with Mrs G.

Yes, let's have that drink sometime - let me know when you're free.

Night night all, I stupidly agreed to meet a friend for a run around Battersea at 7am in the morning, so I guess I'd better get some sleep....

You can't see me properly! LOL

That's the house we've done up. I'm glad the landlord on this house doesn't pop round unexpectedly
How much is it on the market for? I'd love it, but I think it may be a teensy bit out of my price range.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

Yeah, just a teensy bit. I'll give you 150k (stretching to the limit) for it, - I'd be very grateful.

Right time for my bed. Got to get plenty of rest - doctor's orders.

    Night y'all.

Come and play next time, Snow Dog :) I'm still here waiting for the boy to get back from the rugby.

I'm going to see a house in the morning - something tells me I may not feel like it :o

  • We became homeowners today. I guess I'm so excited that I'm unable to go to bed.
