My Sony z5c has FM radio. No charges.

I wanted a phone that had external memory, fm radio and a decent camera. So i spent time researching what phone had these options.

Even if i went through an app i doubt i would get charged as i am aware that sometimes i can get through a lot of data so paid for a bundle that includes more data than ill ever need. I realise i might be paying slightly more than i could but that gives me peace of mind that i will never get an unexpected bill.

Your situation is unique to you. I dont have the same problems.

Its completely up to you to pick something that suits your needs. It sounds like you havent.
