    to find nothing is unchanged
Strange turn of phrase...suggests that everything had changed. Not sure that is what you meant.

Must have been a Santander problem, I had exactly the same thing last night.

Tried this morning and everything back to normal.
  • Some months ago now I was locked out of my online account. I had a message to ring their (genuine ) number. They got me back in after doing some checks, then told me that in due course all customers would need a new id, so would I like to change now? I agreed, and it works every time.
So I guess the new system is now widespread and everyone is being changed over. Just be sure you are dealing with the genuine site.

I think I have 2 Santander IDs linked to my accounts. I think both works. I just use the new one though.

This is the first time I have had a problem, I have a 10 digit ID, a 9 character password, and a 5 digit PIN.

Think I have had the account about 3 years now.

Oh dear so i used the wrong phrase and you felt it was your moral duty as post watcher to point this out, nothing better going on in your life at the moment?

"nothing had changed" for those that were confused, puzzled or just bewildered by my original reply i was not drinking or taking drugs at the time, i made a simple human mistake please forgive me and i hope i caused no offence or distress to anyone involved in this thread.
