Thanks so much camelot x
The girls live in a 6'x8' shed which is in a run approx. 25'x 15'. We have visiting birds all day long - they steal the feed, lol - and I have no idea how to cover an area that large :undecidedBulletproof0 -
Aww thanks TRU that was a lovely comment. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Morning everyone, thanks for the thread Dumpling x
:j on your test results TA, hope that Mr TA is all ok too x
Wet but much milder here so no heating on which will help our oil consumption, been going through a bit with DM being here and needing to be warm.
She is back at DB's for a couple of days, must admit am feeling really quite frazzled with it all, today we are having a day together , going out for brunch etc so hopefully can recharge a tad.
Get well wishes to all poorlies and gentle blessings to all heavy of heart, thinking of you x
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Good morning,
Thank you dumpling for the thread.
TA so glad you are reassured about your health.
Tru thank you for the carol.
Hugs and well wishes to all the poorlies and those who need them. xx
Had a good night sleep with weird but funny dream about mariachi bands, strange thing to dream about, perhaps it's because I am thinking about next Friday. I have been asked by DS to play guitar and sing in an Italian place for a friend of his his setting up Italian evenings. Should rehearse, really, but I am sure even if I don't, I will remember a few songs from the Ol' Country! Should be fun.
Today Faversham meet up, very excited and looking forward to it. Luckily DH is feeling better, his cold is receding so I can leave him here alone, and I haven't got it (and hope I never will!).
Breakfast will be porridge and late lunch at the cafe in Faversham. For dinner I have defrosted smoked mackerel fillets and will boil potatoes and steam some cavolo nero and carrots.
JackieO, see you shortly!
Have a good day. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Morning, ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Coffee at the little chapel this morning and I have an appointment with the Dr this evening regarding the letter from the hospital, should be interesting. I have cancelled the MRI scan until January.
A lady we know who goes to the coffee morning nipped round yesterday to say she would not be there she has an appointment. She stayed for coffee and a chat. I think she is lonely, she lives with her niece and her two children, long story involving police and a husband who tells lies to get his own way. He niece is out during the day, so she has no one to talk to.
Its a mild morning, we had rain during the night but I can see some bits of blue sky. OH says its up to 9c this morning. I had left the heat on but think I will switch it off till late this afternoon, I can always light the fire if its chilly after lunch.
Got the Christmas parcels wrapped yesterday, so that out of the way, will distribute the cards this morning at coffee or post them through the relevant doors. Just have 2 that we will have to post next week.0 -

Another parcel just arrived for dd and have had a coffee and bacon sandwich for breakfast.
Low fat mince and chicken has been defrosted so will make cottage pie with leeks, carrots and onions and also chicken with peppers, mushrooms and spicy tomato sauce. Hopefully I will have at least three or four portions to freeze for another day or to help out dds.
Tonight is the dreaded weigh in and after a weekend of meals out I am not looking forward to the result!!!
Tru
Could you stretch tarpaulins over the roof (or top of the run) ? Maybe old sheets? Thin cardboard?
My glucosamine and chonodtrin supplements have arrived this morning so I am hoping these with V**tar*l cream will help my still and sore knees. One of my dds said I sometimes walk as if I have two wooden legs
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

At last Dh's hospital appointment has come through. He will have the stent removed on Monday and then will hopefully be able to start getting back to normal. I'm so pleased, he was feeling quite despondent last night, it's been quite soul destroying trying to get through to someone who could help him get it sorted out.
We're having fake Christmas this weekend because DD and her DH are off to India on Dec 20th. They were supposed to be going for 6 weeks, hen 4 weeks but now just a fortnight because their house renovations won't be finished. I've ordered a rib of beef from the butchers as it's always good from there. I need to make a list of the other things I need now as well.0 -
Tru, could you use one of those big family tents? Msybe ask on facebook?0
