Help with new phone contracts
Hello,
Sorry for this query, but I'm a bit of a dinosaur with bang up to date things lol.
My wife and I have phones that are 4 years old!! Yes they still work, but only just. I am shortly coming to the end of a two year contract with talktalj, my wife is on a rolling 30 day with Life/plusnet.
I'm out of work, so cannot afford to buy new phones; we aren't mega users anyway, I currently pay £7.50 a month, my wife pays £6.
Am I as well to sort out a provider who throws a cheap phone in, again for £7.50ish a month?
Secondly, more technical this time. My wife struggles to get a signal at times in our house, but I'm not too bad most of the time signal wise. Could this be down to the provider, or could it be because the phones are old as well?

Plusnet use EE as their carrier, whereas Talk Talk use Vodafone. So most likely the EE signal is worse at the your home.
If you use a site such as uSwitch you can find deals that might work for you, such as this one: https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/contract_deal/776a13aeb08d1eecb67fc83452f6100f1ab04c11?comparison=dT0wJnM9bW9udGhseS1jb3N0JnA9L21vYmlsZXMvY29tcGFyZS9jb250cmFjdF9waG9uZXMvJnBvPTM=0
