    It's worth noting that it's quite common to overspec panels to inverter.
    Dno limits export to 3.6kw and you will probably do that in summer, however when you really want the solar is in winter.
    So if you say get 20% solar in the dead of winter then you are better with 20% of 5kw than 20% of 3.6kw.

    The fact you are getting 20kwh days just now proves you are onto a good thing, I've only tipped over 10kwh a couple of times in the last two months.

    Good point.
    Our panels are only 240watts so we have that benefit in the winter.

    Solar Immersion installed May 2013, after two Solar Immersion lasting just over the guarantee period replaced with Solic 200... no problems since.

    13 Feb 2020 LUX AC 3600 and 3 X Pylon Tech 3.5 kW batteries added...

    20 January 2024 Daikin ASHP installed

    I would ask if they know what % the SOH is Mick, or at least the date of manufacture which should be on a label on the battery.
    I got a second hand one last year that was a couple of years older than my other 2 and it had a slightly older firmware version.
    It works fine with the other 2 though and the SOH was still 100% when I checked it.
