On-grid domestic battery storage

Hi decided to go ahead and at the same time arrange a full system for my son.. so all in package seems good value.
Now I think I may have a small issue as I have a solic 200 connected does anyone know if this will continue to work as it uses a clamp meter to decide when to send power to the immersion, how would the set-up decide to send power tp the batteries or the Immersion?
In theory Im guessing when the batteries are fully charged and I am exporting the Solic will kick in OR when the water is at temp the Solic will turn off and the batteries will charge.. anyone actually know?3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch + Solar Immersion installed May 2013, after two Solar Immersion lasting just over the guarantee period replaced with Solic 200... no problems since0 -
Essentially you are correct.
You can let them fight it out, in which case I *think* the solic will win, until it's full, then batteries will take over.
That's what's reported by members with sofar, but lux responds quicker I believe.

Has anyone heard of GivEnergy inverter and battery systems?
Just come up my radar..... seems similar-ish prices to a Lux/Sofar/Pylontech setup.

The 8.2kwh module is a good price, about £287 per kwh compared to £333 for Pylontechs.
The 6.3kwh module works out about the same as Pylontech.

So £3k for 8.2kwh isn't quite as good as I thought.
Though it's still not a terrible price.
Comparible to the Pylons... but given the Pylons are a known quantity, I'm reassured I did the right thing buying more Pylons... especially as i Picked up 9.6kwh for £2k (used though)West central Scotland

With 2nd hand Pylons, is there any way of telling the state of health percentage ?
The Lux inverter shows this in the web interface but wondering if there's another way to check ??Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go1 -
