Everyone is doing so well, go us! All these people talking about retirement, it must be so exciting! I am only 28 so a long way to go, but I'm already counting down the years....!
I get paid tomorrow and won't be going out today so can confidently declare £450.00 saved from my January wage, which is my monthly target for the first half of the year. By being part of this group, I haven't dipped into my December savings, which is quite miraculous really: Christmas is all paid up, I even paid for a flight for a friend's hen do that I hadn't budgeted for this month, and with all the socializing and whatnot at this time of year, I'm super happy that my savings are in tact in the first month of 2017

I'm declaring for January, as all of my direct debits are now out.
1/12th of my £4,000 target (£334) has been successfully tucked away in addition to saving a small additional sum towards filling up my oil tank in the summer. :j
Also paid a whole £7.50 overpayment on my mortgage as it was hovering just over a major number and I wanted the psychological boost of seeing it under that
Lived mostly out of the cupboards and freezer and will continue to do so for February. Little bit of share dividend was in there as well.

72 % saving rate from income received so pleased with that, won't be so good next month as we received RHI payment this month to help on income side. Also had a very quiet xmas as full of flu.

I'm late as always, can I join please? I'm aiming for £3000. A low amount but I'm a skint mature student :rotfl::rotfl:
Doing well so far this month so fingers crossed that that continues.0 -

I'm declaring £335.05 for January which is a pretty good start. I'm trying to sell some bits to make more money, so hopefully I can keep up the momentum
Keep going everyone

Number 075 checking in also!
Not been as frugal as usual this month, mostly down to birthdays and a trip away costing a little more than expected.
Still quite happy that I've saved £1,791.46 in Jan so far though.
This is likely to be the last month I'm able to save such a big amount as I'm so tired from working two jobs... been contemplating jacking both in and living off the savings pot I've accrued so far! Got to think of the bigger picture though I suppose!Saving Total 1st Jan 2017: £47,819.92 | 23rd Jan 2017: £49,611.38 | 28th Feb: £50,461.97 | March 2017 : £51,786.13 | April 2017: £53,251.52| May 2017: £54,219.71 | June 2017: £55,857.73 | Nov 2017: 53,375.46 Savings Goal: £100k:j £46,624.54 To go!0 -
