Still need I, U, Z, over £1000 and a Sunday win, although there is still time - could get a iphone bundle win on a Sunday which would help :D

hope December gets better for you GPark and you return refreshed in January

I think more folks need the "chill pills" I am on...:D

I have been watching more TV and playing more Bingo on my poota than I have been comping. ;)

I have been trying to do a little bit each day towards Christmas, I have my cards written but not delivered, I have a quarter of my pressies wrapped, need to go to Iceland at some stage.

    Just plodding along :rotfl:

I am not promising I feel the same way this time next week

Note to self....Remember to update 2017 Challenge before 2018 arrives :D

yes mansey, I did notice your challenges hadn't been updated for a while. :)

all chilled here, but then I have a very small family so not many presents to buy or things to sort. Most of the prezzies are wrapped and most cards are written. Picking son up from uni tomorrow so will put up tree and decs when he's home as he can get it all out of loft; and he's taller than i am - so can reach top of tree!

have entered loads of advents and managed to win just one bottle of cordial from them. Still another week of them though

GPark your post could have been written by me. It’s one of the reasons I stopped posting in here much and took to just plodding along doing my own thing as and when I could. I hope the break does you good and you come back refreshed and full of luck x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

    Big Sunday hugs to everybody,

This weekend has been mega busy. Out Friday night with my ladies of a certain age. Interesting discussion about beards and lots of comments on other peoples Christmas parties.

The collected Mini Bot 2 from uni with loads of dirty washing.

Bought Christmas Tree; had usual "discussion" about decorating said tree.

Mr Bot's birthday tomorrow so had to sort presents into birthday and Christmas and wrap in appropriate paper. make sure two minibots and actually got birthday presents for Mr Bot. Wrap mini bot's presents fr Mr Bot.

Make cake for Mr Bot. Work out how to make alternative cake for mini bot 2 on keyto diet (no me neither).

Skin and cut whole chicken into one inch pieces for curry MIni bot is making tomorrow.

Let Grandma Bot know we are coming to hers before Christmas not between Christmas and New Year as she expected.

All this as well as all the stuff I do on a weekend.

If anybody is drinking anything good pass me a glass.

GPark - I hope things soon pick up for you. I think you are right to take a break. Hobbies are meant to be fun. If you are not enjoying it, then take a break.

Funnily enough, I was on Sertraline until recently, came off them because I wanted to learn to cope by myself. Don't know what I was thinking :rotfl:

I think December is just a rough month for me because it affects my son so badly, and I hate that I can't fix things for him. Christmas should be magical for kids, and its just a big ball of stress for my son, ASD sucks :(

On a brighter note, I managed to get all my kids Christmas pressies wrapped today :) and tomorrow when the boys are in school I'm going to take my daughter to see Santa for the first time :)

I'm not going to bother with advents again, but thought I'd try doing some end date comping instead, something I can just dip in and out of without stressing. You never know, I may have more luck thee with everyone else doing Advents :)

I'm on the bucks fizz, so I need something good too - would be on something stronger, but I'm supposed to be wrapping presents and don't want them to be squiffy :rotfl:
