i have just won a handbag from hotter shoes :) worth £85, i am so close but yet still so far away from all my goals!, i am hopeful that i win something to cross off the x y z in the next week!

You and me both with the X, Y, & Z problem :rotfl: It's really annoying me, even entered for a yoga top earlier today in an attempt to cross it off...never done yoga in my life!

Congratulations on all your wins so far everyone. I've had my first win through today which was a his and her watch and bracelet set from thomas sabo via the john greed advent competition. Not even attempting the topcashback bird at the moment, I'm chasing my tail with the advents as it is.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Mansey as well as all the other things but on the bright side, it can only get better right :p when it rains it pours!

    I'm at 41/50 now.

I think that the chances of me completing them are about a million to one, but we had a laugh anyway.

Reading some of the challenges for 2018, I think we will have many more next year too :rotfl::T:eek:

Hope things are getting better for you now.

I can't concentrate on anything at the moment.

The tree is up, but only some of the decs are on it.

The rest of the decorations are down from the loft but not put up.

I tidied up a bit but stuff is scattered round the house again.

I've written about a quarter of the cards and need to get a few more.

Got and wrapped about half my presents, but no idea for the others.

Not been paying attention to the advents.

And every time the phone rings I jump a mile, 'cos my daughter is now 5 days overdue and we are on alert for granddaughter care when she does go into labour. We've been there today, hoping it might happen, but it didn't, so back in the morning.

Like I said, I can't settle to anything, and all this snow hasn't helped.:(

    I've managed 42/50.

    J, X, Y, Z, Facebook, Effort, and over £500 and £1000 to go.

Unlikely to get anymore, as I'm taking a break from comping.

I officially hate December :( I actually can't wait for Christmas to be over. My son is just not coping with all the Christmas stuff at all, so its been a week of constant meltdowns.

We were snowed in for 5 days  So I'm behind in everything because the boys were off school, and its impossible to do anything with 3 kids running around.

I have over 150 presents to wrap, and haven't done any yet :(

I usually comp to destress, but have found myself fussing and getting anxious about the advents.

So I've decided to take the rest of the month off comping, and start again in January. I may do the odd comp here and there, but nothing like my usual 100+ per day.

Good luck to everyone still doing the advents, hope you all get some lovely wins :)

GPark - I hope things soon pick up for you. I think you are right to take a break. Hobbies are meant to be fun. If you are not enjoying it, then take a break.

Folks on here have been very quiet lately. Are you all busy with the advents?

I haven't won anything in December until now, except for a set on fridge magnets, but I have just had an instant win on the Hobgoblin / Wychwood comp. I have won a pair of tickets to tour the brewery. Fortunately it is within about an hours drive from home, so will be able to go and take my son. He will be interested as he works part time in a bar and has never been round a brewery, so pleased to be able to take him.

Having entered loads of advents this year, I do hope I win at least one more prize in December.

I'm still waiting on a fishing prize that I won back in October. I was hoping to use that as a Christmas pressie, but it is looking unlikely that it will arrive in time (if at all).

Good luck on the advents everyone. Hope the rest of you are not finding it too stressful.
