BT bb & phone renew or move?

BT bb and anytime landline deal ends 6th Jan. I've got Sky tv.

When do I contact BT to haggle, is it 30 days notice?

Are there any non-fibre deals worth considering?

Ta. :)

Says "Anyone who already has any other Sky service or takes Sky TV at the same time won't be eligible for this offer. "

Check T&Cs for the notice period as Sky needs a month's notice for tv but just two weeks for phone.

As most migrations are done in around 10 days, some people have been caught out by giving a month's notice on phone, as they are migrated within their minimum term and end up with a penalty for this.

Also, BT, like PlusNet, now consider moving to an LLU (such as Sky or TalkTalk ) as a cease and make a charge or that. PlusNet charge £30 for domestic, so BT's will be similar.

Err I'm with BT for phone/bb and Sky for tv.

I wanted to know what the notice period was for BT if I did move to say PlusNet or Sky.

From the 6th Jan 2017 your BT will move to a 30 day rolling contract .
You can leave BT at anytime but will have to pay off the balance of the contract .

    MAC's are history!

If you want to switch to Sky, they will handle the transfer for you. If you are already a Sky customer for TV, then you should get a better package from them including line, BB and TV.

Oh :o when did that change occur?

I've been happy with BT bb and had some reasonably good deals with them. But it was down to them messing up and me pressuring them, they've not messed up this year so I think I might have to bite the bullet and move...
