what can i expect when at retirement age?

at the moment i receive £400 a month from my employers, under a payment protection plan. Didnt know the plan even existed when i started my sick leave. Anyway, i also get incapacity {new ESA} and the highest level for both disability living and the care component {not been asked to apply for new PIP yet}, although dreading it and upset that it was supposed to have been a lifetime award.
anyway the point is, that they are the 3 avenues that i receive what i now live on. i receive help with HB and CT. but need to pay bedroom tax. what worries me is how i will live when these are no longer offered. obviously, my company wont continue to pay the protection plan for ever, so may want me to take redundancy or at 52 to retire early. then wont get ESA at retirement age and wont qualify for the new PIP. I will have paid enough NI to qualify for state pension, along with some HB and CT if lucky but is that all i will have too live on? will any other benefits kick in when no longer able to claim any help with disability?
i know this is still quite a way off, but will need to make plans for it in any way i can between now and then. sorry if i have waffled a bit, but it all kind of tumbled out, will be grateful for any advice given

DLA/PIP will continue into retirement subject to any assessments you have.

Pension credit if it is still around would top up your income.

Did you say you had ESA and £400 from your employers.

Are you sure you are entitled to housing benefit and ct help with all that income.....

DLA isn't taken into account when assessing for housing benefit.

If you didn't know about the £400 per month from your employer when you went sick, did you declare that income when you claimed ESA or when it became known to you at a later date?

'all that income' you have absolutely no idea of my personal circumstances or outgoings and as such should not make any comments

I think the point is that HB (and other benefits) are based on income and capital (amongst other things) not your outgoings.

    Good guide to HB here

thank you so much for your concern, and as you seem so interested. yes, i did declare this income as soon as i started to receive it, and because of this as stated, i receive help with HB and CT not full payment. quite a big difference as i am sure you must know, given your keen interest on the subject
