£30 for 150 broadband only

Hi all,
With the Virgin price increase I'm being charged £38 for broadband only now. I don't have phone or TV, and I'm out of contract. I used to get a £7 loyalty discount but looks like that's gone as I'm out of contract.
I'm perfectly happy with Virgin Media's service, I just don't want to be fleeced for it. I called them and they offered £30 a month with no change to speed, so I'd keep the 150 service.
Does that sound like a decent offer knowing I'm broadband only? Was considering pushing for the new Hub 3.0.
Many thanks all.

That's not a bad price for 150mbps.
The new hub 3 is fairly cheep looking.0 -

Vodafone BB-only 38Mbps Fibre is £25pm.
There is currently a Carphone Warehouse exclusive price for Sky ADSL BB & Landline at £15pm.
Depends on whether you need the speed.0 -
Thanks guys. Appreciate the suggestions.0

We quite often see people on MSE asking similar questions who are on BB speeds that are unnecessarily high.0
