Hello all,
We all love a good family game - what are your family favourites?
I have just invested in Carcasonne, never played it before though and we are saving it for Christmas day

We love Carcassonne, you'll soon be investing in the expansion packs.
We've recently got Exploding Kittens, which is a fun card game for older children and adults.
If you're an adult only party with a certain type of humour there is also Cards against humanity, but this is very nsfw.Kate short for Bob.

My favourite Christmas Day game is " guess how much champagne Mummy can drink before she burns the Christmas lunch". This follows me, the sprog and the husband playing "guess how long it will be before Grandma finally comes downstairs so we can open some presents". Last year I managed a bottle of champers and a couple of schnapps - I'm going to try to do better this year. My guess is that Grandma won't put in an appearance until 12.30, because I'm an optimist

My parents have got an ancient edition of Trivial Persuit, it's from the late 80's so the sports and entertainment rounds are hilarious and baffling.0

My parents' edition is from around the same time and some of the answers involve countries which no longer exist

Yep, we have a 20+ year old Trivial Pursuit too. It's a great excuse for why none of us know the answers
