The link in post #13 tells you how to do it.
And I think anyone in PC World trying to sell you anything may well be a buffoon.
I second that, I spoke to a young assistant yesterday and he didnt even know what size screen he was talking about, we looked at the Acer R11 (11.6" screen) which i liked, but was a bit wary of only 2GB RAM and he first said it was the 8" version, then a 14". Then I asked what the R11 stood for and he looked at me blankly....

I think they tend to try too hard to know their stuff, but ultimately, PC World hires kids, a bit like McDonald's.0 -
Don't try to use a dongle with it - it'll need a driver - use a WiFi hotspot instead.0

I think I'd prefer the larger screen, both are 4GB RAM but reading some of the reviews people have had issues with them, so which would you choose guys?0 -
Over £200 on something with so many limitations as a chromebook seems like too much money to me. You can get a proper laptop for that.0

Got a full sized laptop, and an ipad mini so after something in the middle, size wise. And as I said in my first post, i only need it for the internet and nothing else.0 -
I would check the list of models that will get the play store added so in future you have access to the Android apps https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-appsDeleted_User wrote: »Over £200 on something with so many limitations as a chromebook seems like too much money to me. As as a tablet can cost over £200 isn't that limited, mine has the play store so I can play Android games such as simcity plus I have a proper keyboard for typing I can edit photos with Polarr which works offline and my Chromebook even can read raw files from my camera they are more capable than is generally thought.0 -
Thanks Lumstorm, both the 2 I'm looking at are top of the list so thats good, now just got to decide between the 2 of them0
