Beko Washing Machine

I have just ordered a new Beko integrated Washing Machine and my friend has just informed me that they have a problem with catching fire!!!!
Is this true?
I know about all the problems with different driyers etc and have a feeling there was something about Beko Washers a while ago.
Has anyone got any info to set my mind at rest?o

If you have a Beko Dishwasher, Washing Machine or Built In appliance you are not affected.

See link below, it seems your friend is not correct with washing machines but you are about dryers {also FF frezzers and Gas cookers before 2009}

The washer has really good reviews and it took me ages to choose one

I think the thing is, you've seen stories in the press about Beko, and think it's the whole range. I was looking for a new FF over the weekend and never even glanced at the Beko ones, just because i had this idea that it would be rubbish.

My Beko washing machine, condensing tumble dryer and dishwasher are all working well without any signs of getting too hot.
