Also missing
Bering, Outdoors Magic, Spy Equipment, Kwik-Fit (not surprising seeing as they're letting a lot of office staff go), Garmin, Virgin Wines and looks like Trusted Watch aren't doing one this year.
You've probably noticed by now, but just in case....

So much rubbish prizes this year, I bet they sent staff down to the cash and carry. Loads of x. Need to win a case of vodka!0

I am trying to plough through as many as I can but seems impossible to keep up. My hand was actually aching last night ."And may the odds be ever in your favor."

Shortlist Media not running any Advents this year (Shortlist, Stylist, Emerlad Street, etc)? Shame - they were always good prizes.
Added in edit: Upon further investigation, it looks like they're doing something different this year. I believe these comps have been listed individually on the main forum, but may be worth a quick check in case you've missed any, as they are still live:

Happy 5th day everyone, Good luck not winning as much. I see another comper went to the news paper (the sun) so another 1000+ new compers thinking they can enter 10 comps and win them all lol.0

Hiya peeps
Anybody winning? All I've won so far is a £10 love to shop voucher, and it wasn't even an advent lol.
One thing I've noticed though, is that the usual names aren't coming up. There seems to be quite a few different winners, which I'm quite pleased about, 'cos it gives me more hope that I might actually win something
I don't grudge folk a win, but last year got rather tedious with the same names coming up.
I haven't seen any cracking sob stories yet either. What's going on?
Be Lucky
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -
I won something like 4 different prizes in the advent comps a few years back, ranging from a lens cloth to a £100 cinema voucher. Nothing last year or this, but then I seem to have hit a long spell this year of winning nothing at all in ordinary comps as well. I never really used to believe in luck, but I think the odds are against me comping so much without a win, while some people seem to do quite well a lot of the time - so maybe there is indeed something to it. Whatever it is, I'd love to find out how I can get it!

I just WISH that the advents happened in January when there's sod all else to do, instead of in December, the mad-busiest month of the year! Obviously that would defeat the object but it would be ideal when you think about it! I feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day in December!0
