The children are not liable for the mums debts. At the very least I would ring the companies and tell them she is incapacitated and has no money to pay off the debts.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
