    You get paid?

    Where's the queue?

Of course there are like all businesses barriers to entry.

Physical attributes/enhancements, performance ability/stamina, exposure to disease- there are loads of downsides on top.

but keep dreaming you'd make the grade?

This is why I never listened to career advisers.

I have a feeling it would have gone something like:

Adviser: "What do you like doing?"
    Me: "Cooking, and computer programming."
Adviser: "What is computer programming? That's not a career I ever heard of. Here are some catering schools you can try."

dont women get paid 3x as much as men in that industry? apparently its a difficult job for a male as deer in headlights come to mind when lights and camera starts rolling

probably why we see the same old guys over and over. its a tough job.. not that I watch any of course ;)

I always used to ask what qualifications I needed to be a careers adviser and how much it paid.

I then took a degree in Computer Science. :D
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

I think (freakinomics maybe) that men in the industry are well paid as there arent so many and it is harder work (hence the hiring of fluffers) but women make more from appearances and licensing on top of the actual 'acting/performance' fees

I could easily be wrong but I understood that the fluffer job role has been rendered largely obsolete thanks to technological advances in the form of little blue pills.

I'd buy a building and loads of tools and equipment to deck out a makerspace in my local city.

    Computing
    Garage/metalwork
    Woodshop
    Kitchen
    Textiles
    Recording studio

Run it as a not for profit and see how long it lasts.
A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. These spaces are open to kids, adults, and entrepreneurs and have a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, cnc machines, soldering irons and even sewing machines.

It'd have a games room as well!
