I'd want to save it for future healthcare needs, so that I don't die on a waiting list.
I'd treat myself to a brabantia bin though. And I've always dreamed of staying at Disney's Grand Floridian

But they all hate me and make me redundant. These days, even builders can't stand me telling them to do it properly, and complain about me hovering over them.
I really like bossing people around, and tell them to do thing according to my will. I have known from an early age what I need is to build a Killbot army, take over the world, and tell everyone what to do. Still saving up for my Killbot Army.
I think Delos Incorporated from Westworld may be recruiting. Many of their employees are missing!

1. Pay a thug to break both my ex's legs.
2. Buy a flat in London and let it, then enjoy the proceeds.
I would not give a penny to anyone, as nobody has ever helped me out financially.0 -
Yes. Should have clarified, however, that this is the 10% allowance for this year, then I would do the same each year (whatever 10% of the start balance is. If I overpay by more I am charged a fee, likewise with early repayment. My 1.94% 5 year fix should be beaten by returns on investments so would see no need to repay in full And take the hit. Would then just clear it at remortgage time.Only 15k on mortgage overpayments?0 -
I would keep my mouth VERY FIRMLY ZIPPED.
Firstly I would hire a solicitor in a different part of the country to facilitate the donation of money, anonymously, to local charities I support.
Then I would, through the same medium, gift some money to younger relatives or friends in financial difficulty, in strict anonymity, stipulating only certain ways in which it can be used.
Then I'd invest the remainder. After all, with interest rates so low, the residue wouldn't bring in a huge amount ofamount of money. I'd keep my elderly car, continue buying some of my clothes from charity shops and generally not much change my lifestyle to "give the game away" .
Might increase my personal spending on quality chocolate though and stop buying that awful Cadbury's rubbish!0 -
You know what I would do if I had a million dollars? I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities...0
