A great way not to get new customers is by spamming, there is now not the slightest chance I would use your product.0 -
, I knew that this site might be problematic, as are the BBC news and iPlayer sites, and the National Lottery.
Just for interest I accessed above 4 sites with Nordvpn using a uk server and Smart player enabled and had no problems viewing or streaming.
Nord still running while posting this.0 -
I'm just sitting here with my own rolled VPN running on a cloud server (I know i know "cloud"!! But i control it and it's logs. I have zero bandwidth limits.)
I can easily kill the server and move it to another location within the cloud service, or to a different provider entirely.
Oh I'm with BT so they have an annoying habit of forcing their DNS over user supplied.Laters

When I say I had problems with Nordvpn, it is because of lack of throughput and number of connections that did not connect. I am fairly sure a large part of that had to mostly do with my ISP at the time.
The problem is to find out where the problem lies, and is it the ISP port blocking, traffic management killing the connections, or the VPN company, or MTU on modem or windows, and it is really hard to diagnose from the consumer end. Just easier to blame the VPN company0 -

No countries to choose from either for exit points.
Free cloud? With zero bandwidth limits? Is the company sitting on a pot of gold at the bottom of a rainbow somewhere?0 -
You have a logged exit point somewhere

Never said it was free, $6pm
I use it as a test web server, and a personal git repository.
Cloud provider has hosting locations all over the globe. (And they are not currently enforcing bandwidth restrictions and have no plans to for the next 6-12 months.)
Had it set up with tor for a while, but don't bother with it much these days.
Might splash out and pick up one of their persistent storage options and use it as a remote plex cloud server once it's out of beta...Laters

Yes its now necessary for Brits to use VPN, i personally use PureVPN because it has more features compare to others as well as cheap in cost. I bought their deal on Cyber Monday which cost me $2.45/month0
