Virgin Media Broadband Cooling Off Period?

Hello,

I ordered Virgin Media Broadband online yesterday but it is not getting installed until 7th January next year.

Please can someone tell me when the cooling off period starts? Does it start from yesterday when I placed the order, or does it start on the 7th January 2017 when my service goes live?
