Managed to snaffle number 7 NSD yesterday. I have been at work the past four days but am now off for five so Christmas starts here! Staying in at Chateau Nargle tomorrow but going to Jewish friends on Boxing Day for Chanukah meal. Should be able to get a few NSDs more as we couldn't possibly need any more food shopping for the next...3 months???

Happy Christmas to all NSDers everywhere!

(No, Mrs Doyle, I do not want a mince pie and a cup of tea. No, really I don't. No, honestly, I am full. Oh if you must.......Igor! Come and dispose of this giant plate of mince pies, will you? There, all gone! You mean, there's more????? Bbbbut....marmite queued all night outside Tesco to get their leftover stock, I picked up a job lot of mince pies from a man who works for Aldi's, Hubert went busking on street corners yesterday and got paid in mince pies.....and now Mrs Doyle has an oven that keeps regurgitating the damn things.......Merry Christmas folks!)

Good morning NSD gang, it is Boxing Day and you really shouldn't be spending any money today, not if you are like me and have a fridge and freezer full of stuff plus all those "essentials" for the perfect Christmas. I am thinking of the many boxes of chocolates and sweets (don't normally buy that much in the year so why now?), biscuits, stollen, mince pies (ditto), the mahoosive cooked ham in the fridge (really, Nargle? There's only three of us. Plus cat. Plus furry dustbin on legs called Molly the collie)............

Well today adds another NSD to the total, plus the one from yesterday making my score now 9. I won't achieve my target but I will keep adding the odd NSD here and there.

In the meantime let's see if we can come up with some ideas for all those leftovers......
