But why would you? If an appliance catches fires the owners aren't going to call out a repairman as it will need to be replaced.
If the water is going to run everywhere I would rather be awake to deal with it than find it first thing in the morning.0 -

Interesting to hear that other (all?) machines have these very long programs that you can shorten at the press of a button. As mentioned before by someone on this thread, these long programs are just so the manufacturer can boast energy/water savings, even though people may not regularly use those programs. I certainly would never use a program that might take four hours to complete.
