in Techie Stuff
I have been away for a few days and wanted to check out responses to a query I posted here about correcting protected content settings on amazon. so I clicked on forum search. this brings up a blank search box but when I click on the box to enter my query, it just refreshes back to the forum without allowing me to do a search. am I overlooking something?

What browser are you using? Works OK for me on Firefox, and found what I assume to be the thread you were looking for very easily.

I think it is chrome - what's my browser says it is chrome 54. But now I am puzzled because I can't find any protected content option under site settings - which should be there in Chrome. Is there some other check I can do?0

The search facility is crap on this site. Can't you go into user CP and check on your subscribed posts?You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

From the Forum Search page, click on Advanced Search and enter littlerock in the Search by User Name box.0 -
alternate method for finding your posts
click once on your name (on one of your posts in this thread)
this brings a sub-menu there click view public profile
