I have had a phone call today from a company called McGregor Williams who say I can claim back money from an all inclusive holiday I went on last year - as the hotel we stayed at failed a food and hygiene check within the last thee years. I could apparently claim up to £1500 per traveller. Has anyone heard of this before - is it a scam ?? I can't find anything on Google about it, nor the 'company' McGregor Williams

if you google 'compensation illness on holiday' you will find plenty ambulance chasing firms able to take on cases for a %
The amount may vary based on how long you were ill/hospitalised and the medical evidence that can pinpoint your illness to a specific place to claim from. (I assume you had stool samples etc taken when you saw the doctor)
If you were not ill, this is the same as the calls for the "accident you were in in the last 2 years that was not your fault"...they make 1,000s of calls in the hope of finding the small % of people that may actually have had an accident and have a valid claim
