I too paid £50 for The Telegraph last year and phoned to cancel. I was offered £75 renewal but as this was before Black Friday and Cyber Monday I declined, hoping for a £50 offer. Sadly as you know this did not happen:mad:. I have been with Daily Telegraph for many years receiving either paper copy or digital version. Paid just £50 last year but this year they want £110 so I cancelled last week. It should have been turned off yesterday but I managed download the paper this morning without any probs. Got an em last week to confirm the cancellation and I have checked with my bank to make sure that the T/graph have not charged me anything.
I wonder if I will be able to download the paper tomorrow.
With the times, I just to have contact them by 15 days before the end of my 12 weeks to cancel; otherwise they charge me £6 per week. I can then cancel my subscription at any time.
So I am getting the Times for the next 12 weeks for just £2.To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -

I can still download it as well without any probs. Unlike you, I have an em to confirm my cancellation. I will continue to download it as long as I can as long as they are not charging me.0 -
