I have an Iphone 5 with a cracked screen. Does it have value?
Everything has a value, but an iPhone 5 with a broken screen doesn't have a lot of value.Does anybody think its worth having the screen repaired and then selling it for cash.
Depends on condition and how much you can get the screen fixed for. Remember you're dealing with an old phone that isn't even worth £100 in good order. Put a cheap screen in and sell it, the part shouldn't be more than £20 and it's not hard to fit, an unlocker type shop shouldn't charge more than £10-20 to fit.====0 -
I've just sold an iPhone 6 with a completely smashed screen on eBay for £200+
Have a look at the sold listings to see what kind of price they can fetch:beer: Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0 -
If the phone is fully functional despite its cracked screen, it has normal value minus a screen replacement cost. But if it cannot be operated at all it has very little value, so if you know it will work ok when the screen is replaced it would be worth doing that before sale.Evolution, not revolution0

Have it repaired before selling it. Probably £25 - £50 depending on where you go and whether you want a guarantee. A recently replaced screen could be a good selling point.
iMend will quote up-front and will visit you to complete the repair and will guarantee the repair.

Make an appointment at your nearest Apple Store to have it repaired. Probably the most expensive option.
Don't dismiss local repair shops. They can be the cheapest.0
