wondering if anyone can help. I have a iphone 6 plus, that wont charge correctly. i have had it 23 months. i have bought a official iphone charge and plug as thought this was the issue. still wont charge its like the cable isnt securing to the bottom of the phone. Apple refuse to do anything citing out of warranty. i really dont want to upgrade when my contract ends next month. I wonder if i would be able to claim anything under my consumer rights? as its now not fit for purpose, and a reasonable timescale for it be working should be more than 23 months. Any thoughts on this?

It would have to be proved an inherent fault, i.e. one that was there when it was manufactured, via an independent report. If it is simply wear and tear or is due to mis-use, then you are unlikely to get anywhere.0
