Private PCN Notice Incorrect

I have received a photographed PCN notice at a shopping centre. The offence is right but the notice has indicated the time, which is incorrect. Can I appeal on this technicality & hope the notice gets cancelled?

Yes, they only get one chance with their tickets.

It might be an idea to post in the dedicated parking fines section found here:

Yup, get this into the correct forum and start by reading the Newbies Sticky carefully.

Appeals based on fact seldom cut any ice with PPCs but the sticky lays-out what does. :)
  • I am an absolute novice...proves it took me 24 hours to find the replies to my post. Will have to dig deep to swim through this amazing IT jungle.
How do I prove the time is wrong as I was just dropping off someone...I know it was around 10.30 & not 9.28 .
  • Thanks...how do I prove the time is wrong..I was dropping someone off at around 10.30 & not as they have stated i.e.9.28

Is this the difference between gmt and bst?
  • Thanks...I don't think so...otherwise there time would have showed 11.28 as our time went back one hour ( their 11.28 would have been 10.28)

Don't base any challenge on what actually happened - PPCs don't give a hoot about facts.

Stick to the advice and challenge points in the Newbies Sticky and you will do much better.
