Budget phone recommendations.

Hoping someone can give me some recommendations.

My uncle is after a super budget phone as a present for his sister for her 60th birthday.

She currently has an old Nokia dumb phone but wants to use whatsapp, Facebook, email and do some browsing.

His budget is £50 (that's firm, he won't spend any more - it's not her only gift so he's not just being tight haha).

Is there anything that 'budget' that isn't just a awful?

I think he'll struggle with that budget tbh. There are some phones at that price like the Alcatel Pixi 4, but having used one as a spare recently, it was slow to respond. It may suit someone for their first smartphone but they'll likely be left wondering what all the fuss is about with smartphones!
Maybe the Huawei Ascend Y635 ?

I feared as much to be honest. But told him I'd ask anyway.

I wasn't able to find anything and I've spent the weekend looking online and in local shops.

Again, with the top up you have to buy the Huawei is over budget and he's I distant he won't spend a penny more.

Thanks though, I'm thinking I'm best telling him it's not worth it.
