Sky WiFi not working

Hi all,
Recently I got Sky's unlimited fibre broadband. I always used to be with them and never had any issues, any problems were resolved swiftly and to my satisfaction.
However, this time my reason for taking them was the fact that you were getting an access to their hotspots through TheCloud public WiFi provider, as I often work outside of house. But this service turned out to be really useless. I cannot connect to any hotspot. I downloaded their official app for android from GooglePlay store and it tell me that my device "iOS version is incompatible" on android app. Trying to connect with laptop but when I get to the authentication page all I get is blank page with nothing more than sky logo showing.
Called sky and they just shrug and tell me it must be problem with my devices. Since the access to wi-fi was part of the deal, does it give me the right to cancel my contract on the basis sky is not providing the contracted services mitigating any penalties related to early cancellation (if I choose to go down that route)?

iOS is Apple's operating system , your post states Android from GooglePlay ?,I don't have an Android device , but would they refer to their operating system using Apples acronym ?
You need Android 4.0.3 , is your OS upto date ?, the app has more 1 out 5 reviews than 5 out of 50
