When My Daughter Had A Very Conspicuous Rash A Few Months Ago, I Too Thought It Was German Measles But When I Took Her To Our Local Nhs Centre They Said If It Was Then Thats The Nice Strain To Have, Its The Measles On Its Own Thats The Nasty One And Does The Most Harm

Hi, thanks for all of your replies.
I spoke with my midwife and she said I would have been tested during my last pregnancy. Also, she said that my rubella jab was noted in my records although I know it doesn't always give you full immunity. I am now seeing her next week for my booking in appointment.
It was just one case at my daughters nursery so hopefully she won't get it. There seems to be a awful lot of nasty things going round at the moment and its always a worry when you are pregnant.0 -
