Using up Weetabix

can I ask if the kids have always had it with COLD milk? my grandkids love it with HOT milk and a little sugar sprinkled over. the texture and taste changes a lot with hot milk and its an ideal hot breakfast in the winter. I just heat half a mugful of milk in the microwave per biscuit.
otherwise, I too would suggest using it crushed up to coat chicken nuggets or fish.0 -
thanks all
was more looking for the cake idea -
but some great suggestions - ( apart from me eating them in there original state LOL no thanks )
but will defiantly looking into the sweet treats0 -
I make chocolate brownies with weetabix and my dd's love them and they freeze well. I got the recipe om here somewhere and i make them in a tray and slice up afterwards0

Can they be tempted to have it with chocolate milk (either warm or cold)?
My kids are probably older than yours, but we now only buy 3 types of cereal on a regular basis - muesli (for the wife), cornflakes and weetabix. I make up a batch of nesquik on request and they maybe have that with their cereal twice a week, otherwise they will have a bit of banana with it or something like that. It might seem a bit OTT sticking to just 3 (there is generally also a 'porridge' option, but a bag lasts months..), but I was sick of spending on all the 'fad' cereals and it seems to be working out OK for us0 -
Forgive me if this has been asked before (I did a search but couldn't find it) - does anyone have any ideas for using up a packet of Weetabix left after guests visited. I'm gluten free and DH won't eat them for breakfast. Can I use them any other way to persuade him to eat them?February GC 173/200

I think slimming world had a cake recipe with them that was good.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I usually get left with some going stale - they go into the fatballs I make for the birds.0
