Does Wickes or B&Q have 10%off days?

As I was told Homebase does, just wondering if B&Q or Wickes ever do this? And if so does anyone know when one is coming up?

Do you know anyone who is over 65 in your family? B&Q (and homebase-i think) do a 10% card for the over 65's. My parents have got one so whenever i need anything from B&Q i just take them along and get the discount.

I wondered about the senior aged customer discounts being available, to other members of family, by taking aged parents shopping with you!

How would it work, if buying say, a kitchen - guess you need it delivered/installed at the cardholders address??

when i took my mum with me, we said it was for her but i was paying for it, they didn't query that the address wasn't hers..

focus/doitall (cant remember which one), but their discount card can be used on any day of the week, still has to be taken out by the over 60's (might be 65+)

whereas b&q is only on tuesdays (or wednesdays)

This may help someone, I am a teacher in Suffolk and all council workers get a discount booklet. I can buy B&Q Kingfisher vouchers ( and many others) for 10% off by calling a special number and theysend them recorded delivery at no extra cost. I saved my Mum £100 off her new bathroom! Other councils may run a similar system.

B&Q Wed, over 60 they dont seem to check very thoroughly, though.
2nd point you have to be the council worker to get the discount

Sorry if I didn't explain it properly, all Suffolk CC workers get sent a booklet called 'Lifestyle' I think. It has a unique number to that person so you would have to know a teacher or council worker so they could phone for you.
