My mum has this phone which is great at blocking the umpteen cold callers. She's had it about 8-10 months and the answerphone has suddenly stopped functioning. The phone rings out and then a high pitched screech comes on, no recorded "please leave your messsge" and no ability to leave a message. I've checked all the…

Thanks - I was hoping to avoid doing that because of all the numbers to be put back into the address book and lose all the blocked numbers from the cold callers / scammers who ring my mum umpteen times a day. Now, it's almost inevitable.
